Ate Kitty – I miss Ate Kitty because she has been busy with a lot of things in her offline life therefore I haven’t seen her much but she was able to comment and visit me in my last post!! AWW THANKS ATE!! *hugz*
Actually I wanted my title to be dying but that would be too morbid and… bad feng shui. Haha I wouldn’t want my blog to be an omen of death or anything so I’m gonna keep it clean and change it to Overdose.

So what am I overdoses with? No definitely not opium, crack, shrooms or other what-have-yous. I’ve got a bad case of SCHOOL-ITIS.

I’m seriously packed with schoolwork and org activities this year because I want to be, as the Ateneans say “MAGIS”, or more known as MORE. I want to strive for excellence and BUILD NATIONS as what Ateneo’s Sesquicentennial (150th) motto says. So I’m putting on a game face and throwing away my party poppers for a while and focus with my studies. But of course I’ll still blog! I’ve got a domain and a movie blog and I just WON’T abandon these because these help me keep sane too. Imagine being overdosed with subjects such as Physics for Computer, Math for Computer, Computer Database and Algorithms, Filipino 14 (literature history) and Theology 121. I could literally die from nosebleeding. But I got myself into this mess and I will definitely finish these!

I’m also overdosed with organizations as I thought that since it would be most likely that I will be going on my Junior Term Abroad (WHOOT! I get to study abroad! SO EXCITING!!) either to France, Spain, Germany, Japan (so unlikely though) or somewhere else, I decided to kill myself with organizations that I wanted to join! I so regret for not going crazy during my first year because it was a year of wasted opportunities. So frosh people, DO JOIN ORGS! Currently I’ve joined the following (for overview, pls click links :D) :

1. Computer Society of the Ateneo
2. Celadon (Chinese-Filipino org)
3. Ateneo Student Exchange Council
4. Management Information Systems Association
5. AISEC (International Leadership and Management Org)
6. Baliklaya
7. Ateneo Rifle and Pistol Team Varsity

And I’m still contemplating on joining more organizations but only 1 or 2 left because I think I’m going to die if I join anymore. I’ll certainly be active in the first 2! They are certainly my utmost priority now. :D Aiming high at Celadon and CompSat! Already a Project Manager at Compsat and I hope I do well!

I’m sorry if this has become a super academic post. I really have no idea what to post after being gone for a long time! I do have but I couldn’t jot them down at once. Free time doesn’t come as cheap anymore. I do thank my daily visitors for still checking this little blog of mine. THANKS SO MUCH!!!

I’d like to share a quote from my Filipino literature class professor Sir Alvin Yapan (HE’S GREAT!! definitely!! Good film maker too!) who told us that during the medieval ages, the “romance” that we now know wasn’t exactly all about lovey dovey stuff. It was searching for the IDEAL. So when Lancelot and Guinevere decided to hitch together, they didn’t take pity on these lovers and wanted these true lovers be together. They were actually SCANDALIZED gravely by it. So literature back then viewed,

“Real romantic love is actually UNREQUITED LOVE.”


Seems so harsh to me and so FINAL. The reason behind this quote is that REAL LOVE DOESN’T ASK FOR ANYTHING IN RETURN. I disagree with this now. Do they mean that true love is something that isn’t returned? It’s something one just enjoys it for himself? I don’t think so… love is a teamwork. Love is something that PRODUCES a fruitful outcome so… I’m not totally agreeing with this.. But I think I may have this kind of love… how sad :(

  8. Good luck on everything!! ZOMG, you get to travel to Europe?? LUCKY. I’d so choose Spain if I were you. Or Germany. Germany’s goood. Or anything in Europe basically. XD Your pets are sooo adorable!! I love pet violence. Hahahahaha. I love torturing my friend’s cat. It’s veryyy fun. Lol. She has one cat, three kittens, and a rabbit. So I grab one of the kittens and put it next to the rabbit, and the rabbit starts wrestling it. Lol. I know, I’m evil. XD The Swine song is awesome!! I downloaded the video, I’ve made my little sister watch it. I’ll keep making her watch it until she memorizes it. xD

    but really, i totally agree about what you said about the quote.. and also, we’re in the same situation.
    in the medieval time, there were so much rules that just a small hole and a drop of water leaks. it causes so much ruckus… (just like how gossips are today, but it’s not really connected to the topic)…

    Awww! :) I officially love you for like, forever. :D *cries as Tiff runs away fast* He really did mean a lot to me due to his songs having sentimental value and his life history etc. I also grew up with his music which I fell in love with when I was 6 and have loved him ever since. :D *sends love*
