HELLO JULY!!! Don't you love July?? WELL NOT REALLY because it's typhoon-plentiful-month here in the Philippines.

Okay... My titles seem like precursors of death again. GAACK.I'm really drowning with stuff. I never had my planner filled to the brim before with interviews and stuffs to do but it is now. Just had 3 interviews and one audition for the glee club today (I think I won't get in because I lack commitment but... crap their practice times are M-W-F from 5-8pm!! That is insane and I don't think I'll live with singing practices and tons of other org works to do. I know my limits and this is one of them :( Too bad I really love to sing... I really do.

I'VE GOT NEW FEATURES ON MY SITE!! Lookie at right sidebar!! Can you see the video updates thing? I wanted to get Bubble Guru which is like Bubble Tweet (LOOK AT MY VIDEO HERE TOO!!) but I had to pay some dollah dollah bills and I’m a kuripot (meaning frugal) so I decided to use Vimeo instead! haha WATCH ME do some mini-updates occasionally! :D Will number the videos so you’ll know if you’ve watched it already. I’ll upload an update after every 5 days IF i don’t blog again okay? hehe.

TO THOSE WHO WATCHED TRANSFORMERS 2 ALREADY. WARNING SPOILERS ▼

Another good find! What if Disney’s princesses lived in the real world but with REAL PROBLEMS? Forgot about prince charming and happily ever afters kiddos, THIS IS THE HAARSH REALITY. Dina Goldstein was able to produce and reflect what the princesses’ issues were in modern problems though I’d have to admit with a bit exaggeration. Here are my faves. Go here for more!

“Pixar grants girl’s dying wish to see ‘Up’

Colby Curtin, a 10-year-old with a rare form of cancer, was staying alive for one thing – a movie.

From the minute Colby saw the previews to the Disney-Pixar movie Up, she was desperate to see it. Colby had been diagnosed with vascular cancer about three years ago, said her mother, Lisa Curtin, and at the beginning of this month it became apparent that she would die soon and was too ill to be moved to a theater to see the film.

After a family friend made frantic calls to Pixar to help grant Colby her dying wish, Pixar came to the rescue. The company flew an employee with a DVD of Up, which is only in theaters, to the Curtins’ Huntington Beach home on June 10 for a private viewing of the movie.

The animated movie begins with scenes showing the evolution of a relationship between a husband and wife. After losing his wife in old age, the now grumpy man deals with his loss by attaching thousands of balloons to his house, flying into the sky, and going on an adventure with a little boy.

Colby died about seven hours after seeing the film.”

It’s just so sad…. I’d want to see UP… even in my deathbed too… Please Rest in Peace Colby…

Rest alongside the GREAT LEGENDARY MICHAEL JACKSON. I know I’m late with the condolences but I do want to share my love for MJ’s music because I sort of grew up listening and watching his videos. He was more than a singer and dancer, he was the REAL THING – THE ULTIMATE PERFORMER! I regret not being old enough to have watched his concert here in the Philippines… it’s just so sad…. R.I.P. MJ. I hope that his family is doing well too!!

    —- Optimus was DEAD. Sam didn’t know what to do. At that time, all he was too intent on was finding out what those weird symbols were. That’s why he searched for jetfire; to find someone to help him interpet the symbols. It only came as a sort of bonus when Jetfire told Sam that perhaps optimus could be revived.

    “And if Bumblebee knows something’s wrong with her(robo-girl), why does he spit antifreeze at her instead of telling Sam? Yes, his voicebox is broken, but wasn’t it fixed at the end of the last movie?”

    What was the Fallen doing for those thousands of years Megatron was frozen in ice? — plotting. He was probably waiting for Megatron’s “go signal”
    How does one satellite receive transmissions from everywhere on the planet? — you know the US and their spy tactics. Besides, Soundwave’s advanced technological choochoo could’ve enhanced it
    Why does Wheelie hump Mikaela’s leg? — to show it’s affection for being spared
    Why do we have to see John Turturro’s thong? –because it’s another one of the movie’s comic reliefs (although nagulat ako dito)
    Why are robots who join together to become Devastator also seen fighting the Army at the same time? — they could be different entities altogether; also, adding more units could affect the movie’s budget
    Why does the government want only our military fighting Decepticons when our weapons seem unable to make so much as a dent on any of them? — mapride ang states eh.
    Why did the ancient Egyptians build a pyramid around the sun-destroying machines instead of just breaking it? — ancient egyptians…they didnt have BOMBS! The robot thingys probably predated the edyptians anyway. so when they saw it, they probably thought of it as something special that should be protected or hidden
    Why is the Matrix of Leadership bigger in the Fallen’s hand than in Sam’s? — has the same physics as the cube
    And how do Mikaela’s pants stay so clean? “ — because of various movie-making techniques and multiple takes

    I always laugh at people… it is a really bad trait of mine. lol It gets me into real trouble sometimes… :(
    I am not at university at the moment but I start in September/ October. ;) I am so excited about going! I think they are called Student Unions over here in England… like, you join them to do things and participate in certain activities and all of that kinda stuff yesh? :D So, are projects different from organisations? :| MAN! This is really confusing… too much for my simple ickle mind. :D

  6. yay for bsb mention hehe. i love that song. those photos were extremely thought provoking! did you read some of the comments on the site some of those people left!? just plain stupidity. some actually thought that the author was implying that Jasmine was a terrorist. I rolled my eyes and sighed at the incompetency. Then people were getting mad at the Robin Hood picture because they were over analyzing practically everything in the picture and someone got mad because she said it portrayed fat people wrong. Uggg some people just grind my gears lol!

    and i read that piece about the plot holes so big Optimus Prime could be driven through them. Yeeeeeeeeees!!!!! I agree lol. the first one I caught while in the theater was when the bandage appeared on Sam’s hand all of a sudden hehe. and i absolutely love Robot Heaven.   7. Congrats for the awards! :D Goodluck with the activities. 8 orgs? that’s a lot, I barely managed to finish my application with just one org lol.
    I watched the video, the idea is cool. Writing really takes so much time. Another alternate would be to have an audio version of entries, coz sometimes I’m lazy to read lol.
    As for the Transformers 2, I didn’t get to enjoy it as much as I did in 1. Andaming plotholes! Especially yung allspark used in reviving Jetfire instead of Optimus, and the Primes’ unjustified or useless sacrifice.
    I also love the modern version of princesses. It may be exaggerated but it’s reality indeed. My fave is Rapunzel. (coz the others appear to be photoshopped)
    I’m not really familiar with the Up movie, but it was really nice of Pixar to fulfill her last wish.
    As for MJ, he’s such a great loss! I’m not a huge fan, but I also wish I was older enough to appreciate him back in his glory days.

  13. You do know that the actual fairy tales were about real problems in real life! The actual stories before the films. Like Cinderella, Snow white,little mermaid, ect. Though disney did add some of the real problems in the movies you just got to keep a close watch.

    I come from England! You don’t get more conservative than that. And more so, I live in Cambridge which is like as conservative as you get in England apart from Buckinghamshire (which we’re close to!). And my family are conservative.   24. awww I’m actually surprised you don’t enjoy Transformers II as much as I do. I guess, maybe we both have different expectation. But again, it’s Michael Bay movie. Strong plotlines movie is never his strongest trait. It’s all about big budget movie with tons of action with him.

    - forgive me if I’m wrong but megatron is not exactly dead dead. he still has his spark (or life force, whatever they called them in Transformers). so basically he just comatose. while in Optimus case, he has been stabbed and I guess that effectively kill him for good. which is why Sam didn’t use the tiny piece of All Spark. besides I’m guessing that tiny weeny piece has another major purpose for the 3rd installation of this movie

    - the scene with that green gooey (doubt it’s antifreeze gooey), I thought Bee shoots her in the face because he’s angry that robo-girl try to seduce Sam? and I doubt Bee knows/notices that girl is not human.

    - do consider the fact that the strength of the Fallen back then than he is now is waaayyy different. he is noticable weak now. in fact, he has been restoring+recharging his energy for millions of years, with the aids of Megatron, Starscremer & co.

    - that’s not robot heaven :P sorry but I don’t exactly remember the name but it isn’t called robot heaven. it’s like a middle place between life and death for robots and Sam does not briefly died in that movie. he is stuck in that place. and if I’m correct, Fallen was stuck at the place too before Megatron comes and help him. (or something like that).

    phewww~ I wish I can explain more but my knowledge on Transformers isn’t exactly tip top. but do consider the fact this 2nd movie was based on an entire cartoon series that dedicate to the Fallen story so the plotholes might seems noticable. think about HP books and movies. for those who haven’t read HP books before might wondering why that happened, how they do that bla bla blah. it’s the same with transformers :)

    RIP Michael Jackson.

    Haha Lolz Sharpie! Whatta debate we’re having! I actually enjoyed Transformers 2!!! Especially because of it’s W-T-F moments like these because they actually made me laugh and think of plotholes and use my brain too other than being mystified at the action too. haha I did like the movie but I understand that it’s only a popcorn-munching movie. Not a critical movie but I mean it should have been a movie with a decent plot.

    But he already used the tiny weeny piece on Jetfire. Haha and I would think that an autobot would know when one is a robot. I just think that he should or bumblebee is just too YOUNG. yeah, but the battle between other transformers were longer and they didn’t have the magical staff that the Fallen had. I don’t know, wish they really did a GREAT BATTLE between the two. And is a million years NOT ENOUGH???? and I think he was just trapped in the planet because a prime was still living or something. and about the Robot heaven… =)) =)) I really can’t get over that. =)) =)) :woot :D
    Maybe it’s because I’m not familiar with Transformers but get this… most of the audience of Transformers are those who have never watched Transformers so POOF when they see a scene with dead robots with clouds and Shia possibly dead, they think it’s ROBOT HEAVEN so it was really funny.

    The owner of TheMovieBlog (haha me frequent that site! if you read my movie blog, me always link them or talk about them hehe) is a Transformers geek and he had the same problems with the movie. I don’t know… it’s coming from a Transformers geek so I don’t know how to argue with him. He just gave it a low score really.

    Anyway it’s just a fun film or sabaw(soup) in Filipino because it’ll make your head soup-y! Would watch it on tv again =)) just for fun.

    WHOOT TOY STORY 3!! IT’S GONNA BE EPIC!! Yah, release date is 2010. Won’t be long!! haha :D
