Madly…

First of all, thank you guys for reading the entirety of my last LONG and disorganized blog post. Thoughts were flying all over the place right? But I’m glad Sis Renn had fun and loved reading it and Taryn actually had the same thoughts as me concerning the Harry Potter books and movies so you my dears are the comment winners! BRAVO! :D *tremendous applause reverberating throughout site* LOL :D

This post should have been posted a week ago but procrastination and emotional instability got in the way. Have you ever experienced being too attached to something that you couldn’t concentrate for a few days or so? That was how it felt like after reading Harry Potter books 6 and 7 all over again.

I finally watched the ALMOST fail Harry Potter Movie 6 – it’s a 6.5/10 in my books. I didn’t really love it because of the unnecessary scenes (THE BURROW CORNFIELD SCENE, WHAT?) but the cinematography and the Cave scene made up for it. Call it MAD obsession or what, I couldn’t help reread the books and compare (of course the movies fail miserably) and then after reading the last page, I almost cried myself silly. Well I actually teared up during the scene where …. died… I was a mess during Theology class. Go figure my insanity.

Maybe it’s because I grew up with Harry Potter. I picked up the first 3 Harry Potter books when I was 10 and I grew attached to them. And when the final book came out, I was the same age as Harry, 17. And I couldn’t believe that Harry was experiencing all of these at the age of 17. I figured that my life was really dull so I was being an HP fanatic and looking for Harry Potter merchandise. I was ‘Accio-ing’ things and calling my dogs “Harry” or “Ron” or “Voldemort”. I want to go study at the University in Portugal just because they were cloaks and robes to school. Thanks to Angela, I made this too (haha WISH I WAS LIKE THIS EH?)

I treated these characters like they were real people. I swear. Harry and his friends will have a special place in my heart…. Do you guys know anybody selling HP merchandise in the Philippines? I might seriously consider buying some :D If I really love a good book/series, I’d really be attach to them (another example would be Anne of Green Gables but that’s another story). No questions asked :D

So there, this was the reason why I was sort of depressed last week. Anyway, here’s something to cheer you guys (non- Harry Potter fans) up! :D

Freaky right? I hate clowns. I want to kill them for existing because their smiles are just CREEPY AND APPALLING. This picture is supposed to be funny but I’m not that amused. (International friends, Jollibee the mascot here is the mascot for a McDonalds-like franchise here in the Philippines. It’s extremely popular because they serve YUMMY rice meals fast and rice is the staple food here. We eat RICE EVERYDAY.) Anyway go laugh at this picture if you want.

    -Some! some clowns are handsome without make up. one time, our school had this show in cooperation with some clowns who do exhibitions. All of us (girls) were focused on this certain clown, and we KNEW that he was really handsome. We all scream when he’s about to do his exhibition or sth. lol! we even followed him backstage and guess what, even on the dressing room. HAHAHA! But i didnt peek in..honestly.

    4. Are you supportive of your school/university?
    -UP? Um..im fine with it. But I just hate how much I suffer there. Ugh. So I think my suffering will be my pride? :/ Uggghh.

    5. Want to learn Chinese? haha do tell me and i’ll put up a tutorial here
    -Actually, I do. But I want to master the Korean language first. then next sem, I have this Japanese subject (elective). Then off I’ll go with Chinese. I dont want to study them all in one time because they will get mixed up! Hahaha.. But it’s my dream to learn those three languages. <3

    anyhoo. nyaku. most of me new friends in my new school super disappointed din sa movie. aruy. haven’t watch it pa ai. (*pahulihin kasi lagi) wahahah.

    damn. nagtry din ako nung sa wand. at payong ang gamit ko. ung mga payong ng *mga estudyante* hahaha. (ung nahaba. alam mo na un. haha!) then kapag may kaaway ako nung hayskul. lagi kong nagcacast ng “ridiculous”(knowing na para un sa fears mo na gagawing katawa tawa.) wahahaha. (tapos ung mga kaklase ko. palakat ng tawa) *at nagkwento ng buhay niya.

    arruuy. i also hate clowns.. nakakatakot ung pagngiti nila. makita ko palang ung buhok nilang afro na makulay. (kahit na alam qng tao lang din yun.) arghh. i just hate them. natatakot aku. huhu.

    once a day lang aku magrice sis. lunch or dinner. before. super supportive sa college ko. as of now. la pa qng nakikitang dahilan para maging supportive. wahaha(apeh agad!!).

  7. Lol I know how you feel about re-reading the HP series, I’ve been doing the same thing! Unlike other books these ones hardly ever get boring & I always find something I didn’t get before so that makes it very interesting.

    I think Jollibee is cute, although kind of weird lol. & I love clowns too so I’m sorry you dislike like them wee

  9. I read the first three HP’s when they came out, but I didn’t really like them. I love reading, but somehow I prefer the movies. I think I should try to start reading the first one again though, I might start liking it.

    Really? I prefer the books because of the depth and the subplots that the movie can’t show. But maybe try to read them again and maybe you’ll like them. You never know :D The action picks up around book 4 and it’s very exciting all the way! hehe. I tried that with Pride and Prejudice. Tried reading that when I was 10 and I couldn’t understand a thing. Reread it after the latest movie came out and I LOVED IT! hehe.

    I’m actually gonna try that on LOTR. I watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy and it’s one of my favorite movies of all time! Read the 1st and then got bored with the 2nd. Didn’t continue. I’ll try rereading it. hehe

    Yeah, Jollibee is WAYY BETTER than Ronald McDonald. UGH!! Yah I hated that clown in the movie! My gosh, he had a big head too >_< . Aww shurx you don’t have ba in Canada? I know Florida has one branch I think. Am not sure… but that’s the US… howel..

    Hey kitty! No of course I won’t stone you. But you better read a book or watch a movie NOW! haha kidding lolz! :D One of my best friends actually hasn’t read nor watched Harry potter yet so I went to her house and let her watch movie 1. Haha I do have to update her! hehe :p But I promise, reading the books (if you choose to do it) would be worth an adventure! :D

    I must warn you though when tackling Chinese and Filipino cuisines because most of our food is made with LARGE orders so the whole big family can eat them and still have lotsa leftovers. My mom cooks it in a “kaldero” or a Big pot in english and we have the same food around 4x. lOLZ! hehe :D
    I found this site for Filipino recipes http://www.allfavoriterecipe.com/ and I think it’s okay. PLS MAKE ADOBO OR SINIGANG. Really our specialties. I hope you have the ingredients! :D hehe

    I don’t think I want to be obsessed with something. xD I mean, there’s nothing wrong with being obsessed with something, but it gets out of control sometimes. Like say, if I were obsessed with pens…that would be weird for me. I like collecting things and liking things, not obsessing over things.

    If I saw the real Ronald, I’d kick him. xD
    To say “hello” in Cambodian (or Khmer “kha-my”), you say: sok sabai or suor sdei. I’m not sure about the alphabet and how to write in Cambodian, you’ll need a Cambodian dictionary/alphabet book for that. Oh, and did you know that Cambodia has the most letters in the alphabet?   16. omg lol! teared up during class? hehe. you crazy hp fanatic you! i have never read the hp books as I don’t really like reading that genre but the movie wasnt much good except that Cave scene so :/ idk. It got really good till the end I guess b/c the action picked up for me.

    muhahahahahahahaahaha! i love that picture! how do you find such things hehe! ah. i am cheered up :D and that is really really cool how you guys formed that character. granted it is a bit at an angle so it’s a bit hard to see but i can see it :P

    1.) er. yes. the broker by john grisham. i wanted that to become a movie so bad when i first read it. other than that, every jodi picoult novel i read becomes an obsession :) 2.) no. i hate rice its so friggin boring and plain and healthy and boring!
    3.) i don’t like clowns only b/c i know theres a human underneath all the costume and makeup being overly happy and acting overly stupid lol. i love ppl, cant you tell :P
    4.)HECK YEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH! Except that they raised tuition. I do not support that but I am so excited to go to school this fall. I can hardly wait.
    5.) Never. I’ve heard that you have to learn over 2500 different symbols & that they have multiple meanings. I’ll stick to Latin based languages lol.

    Haha well I wasn’t really crying… my eyes were just watery LOLZ!! :D You don’t like fantasy? Aww shurx :( But I guarantee you that the movie 7 parts 1 and 2 are going to be EPIC! They have to because book 7 is full of awesomeness and action. My movie blog has updates on the filming. hehe

    Oohh i never read a Grisham or Picoult novel. But I do want to try! I have a Grisham at home I think. Isn’t My Sister’s Keeper by Picoult? Is it better than the movie? hehe :P

    lolz! but rice adds something to the food as long as you know which ones to pair up. But I don’t eat it much too. Not a rice lover.

    YEAH ARGH! TUITION INCREASE ALL OVER THE PLACE! Not good.

    Wow it hurts… you saying never to learn… LOLZ!! haha but yeah they have over a thousand characters. You actually save a lot of space because one character could be an english sentence and that’s enough. It’s full of meaning really and it’s interesting to learn :P hehe

    Haha this isn’t actually my longest one… this is quite short sort of. haha! :D
    Yeah I am! I’ll be showing some things in my NEXT REAL POSTS *take note of paid posts coming ur way hehe* Haha unlike Twilight (not a fan, ugh bad writing and… wow really weird glittery vampires), Harry Potter really gives you complex character profiles and plots and subplots so there are a lot of discussions that can be made! And you can really relate to the characters. Think about it like Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, etc. ( I do love Mr. Darcy! haha)

    Well I don’t know… haha it may sound crazy but that’s how I really feel about them. Maybe it’s because of the mad world that we’re living in. You wish these characters could come to life and save you from misery or befriend you or something because the real people in the real world aren’t exactly all too happy or endearing. haha!

    Haha! Well if you think of learning… come to my site when I’ve finished putting it up (hopefully before August ends XD haha. am soo busy darn)

    I have heard that tropical storms are pretty bad actually. However, in England we do not get storms really and so European storms are a big step for us amateur-storm English people. :P I’d love to go to your side of the world actually.

    I was wearing an Austrian suit. Seeing as the Salzburg Festival is the biggest classical music event in the entire world I thought it would be nice to go in the country’s attire. :D FOr the morning I wore white trousers and for the evening I wore blacky/ browny trousers. :) I had to be fairly smart cos was representing my best friends dad who was conducting at both events and is rather famous over here. MAJOR-pressure. lol

    So, you’ve decided to copy my style eh? COPYRIGHT THIEF! HA!

    I just get put off my long bits of writing… always have and probably always will. The thing isa I can cope with books cos of the pages. lol However, online it is just one big scroll of writing and my brain goes ‘WAH!’ and gets excited by stupid things such as Facebook, YouTube and the trees outside. lol ;)
    No, it is not cute. I spend most of my time deleting the stuff my mum has written on my wall. lol :( She wastes my time, constantly! tehehehe

    Haha really do come over! But I warn you, the humidity here is WAY HIGH so even when the sun is not shining, it’s HOT and then suddenly there’ll be thunderstorms later. Really, the weather’s CRAAZZYY!!

    Austrian suits look soo neat and niicee! Wow to your best friend’s super dad! That is so interesting to conduct! haha :D Have you seen our national “suit” yet? It’s called a Barong Tagalog :P haha. Made of pina fabric (pineapple fabric). Look em over here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barong_Tagalog . I like your suits better though! And of course you know what Chinese suits look like? :D hehe (sorry, had to mention my two heritages, well actually my family tree is very confusing. i’ll probably make an explanation in my about me page or something)

    I think I could cope with the humidity but I think it would irritate me. I hate stuffy environments and love fresh air which is why we often go away to places with mountains as the air is always fresh. :)
    You formal attire looks quite funky but I think I prefer the Austrian style. http://www.stassny.at/Herren.6.0.html Click on ‘damen’ (German for ‘women’) and the stuff is jujst so beautiful! I am looking into buying one but they are very expensive… like thousands of euros.

    I’ll give those sites a view and apply and see what happens! It will be good whilst I am on holiday as then I can write about something for 30 minutes each day etc.
