Stifling Stallions…

and SUGAR GLIDERS! :D haha! Anybody who can tell me about sugar gliders get the SPOTLIGHT IN MY NEXT POST! We had those little furry creatures a few years back and we used to breed them too. :D And now that we have the spotlight on pets, we will be getting a NEW GOLDEN RETRIEVER PUPPY! He’ll be the fourth golden retriever now and will add one more to our growing brood! We still haven’t finished choosing a puppy from the 11 in the litter, we really have to select well because we plan on him joining dog shows just like Rocky, Bree and Queenie. Queenie by the way won BEST IN SHOW two times and bagging a 15 thousand pesos worth of trophy (approx 326$)! You are awesome our little baby girl!

Just a note regarding the previous post, the image IS NOT a picture of her house. It looks a bit like it but it’s not her house. I wasn’t able to get pictures sorry :( Glad that you all liked the inspirational story! You guys should watch Lorenzo’s Oil, an incredible film and you’ll be able to see traits of the mother in the mother of Lorenzo too. Hello to my 3 contestants (will become 4 as Tricia will send hers sometime) and I hope more will participate! This is my favorite contest of the lot and I’m going to be soo happy if you all join it! Pls do :D

I’m in such a Christmas-y mood right now ever since December 1 kicked in and the cold winter–I MEAN–wet breeze (we only have 2 seasons here in the Philippines, dry and wet) blew past my face in school at around 730 am. What lovely weather! It has started becoming colder as we are getting 23-25 degrees (that’s sort of cold for us already XD) and hopefully it’ll drop lower. Baguio, a province here called the summer capital, is already reaching 10 degrees and I so want to go there right now and pick strawberries and go horseback riding! Sighs… well I hope I can go back anyway. And I’ve been playing Christmas songs all over the place so it really does get me in a Christmas mood. And I can’t help but smile at myself when I bought an image of Mother Mary from a young girl who is selling religious items approached me and asked me if I could buy to help her raise a college fund. Everyone just seems nicer this month.

And what else can remind you of Christmas other than gifts and presents? I’ve been looking for gifts online since I can’t really go out much to buy gifts and I think I’ve found the perfect gifts for mum, dad, bro and a few friends! Not yet done with shopping though, have to go to the malls (went to the mall today and shopped ALONE for 2 hours, first time to do this) still and hunt for items! I’ve received some things too, such as these wonderful goodies!

Sighs.. December and November actually reminds me of the hours spent decorating our high school classrooms. It all started with first year when I was president and me and my mum were so into decorating stuffs. So we’d go to school on Sunday (haha SEE HOW DILIGENT I WAS? XD) and don the Christmas tree, candy canes and such, want some pics?

Well here’s a fun poem that I made a few days ago! Decided to be fun and play with words. So here’s what came up, do tell me what you think of it. It still has a morbid tone, but it’s… fun to say. :D Haha! I have already a tune for this but that’s a different story. :D

  4. Sugar gliders look so cute! I love their long tails and their eyes remind me of tarsiers. XD I find it weird that there are animals who actually love sweet foods. It’s no wonder why they were called “Sugar Gliders”. They can be pets, right? :S

    Christmas mood is the sweetest. I hope I will have enough money soon to buy dr. Limoni and Constellation little gifts, and something for my friends. Though my money is only random pocket money from the Dr. so it’s not much. We’ll see.

  13. I was in Baguio only last year.. i hope, too, to go back there. but maybe not right now, it’s friggin’ cold.. hahaha.. i just can’t imagine that 10 degrees something. i catch colds easily. i don’t really know if i lack nitric acid because i’ve been taking vitamins.. oh well!

  14. What’s sugar gliders? *googles* Ahh.. wow I didn’t know such creature exist! I thought it was a food! >< so they're actually a pet? I thought they were rare just like the Tarsiers. LOL. But Sugar gliders are waaaaay more cuter ^^~ awesome you're having a new golden retriever puppy! show some pics kei? lol I just loveeeeee dogs!! Queenie is awesome! Hope all of em will win more contests! My cousins let their dogs join some contests too and won a couple of times..

    Oh yeah, our province is Baguio and believe me, you wouldn't want to be there! LOL I don't like too much clothes wrapping on me!! HAHA! Some of my cousins wore gloves already. XD I seriously don't wanna celebrate new year there. Well, coz of our dog.. :D Well he's old and he can't walk anymore and I'm sure he won't be able to withstand the coldness unlike before so I think it's much better if we stay here since we can't leave him all alone. :) We usually celebrate All souls day and New year there.. Baguio is actually fun for two-three days only.. It's pretty boring there. XD

  28. Lol, I love how your blog titles are all alliterations about animals and what-not. Very cute. :) Sugar gliders? They’re a type of marsupial, a bit like a possum. Both petaurids, I think? We have them in Australia too; they’re noisy as hell, but because they’re cute most people can tolerate them, haha. It’s quite interesting how they “glide” though – they have this bit of skin between their front and back legs that stretches out as though to improvise wings or something, it’s a bit weird but cool. Sort of makes me think of paper planes though for some reason! (I know, I’m weird, lol). Oh, and the male sugar glider has a forked penis. :P How’s that for dinner table conversation? Hehehe. Afraid I can’t think of anything else to say about them though, but I’m sure there’d be a ton of stuff on Wikipedia or whatever if you’re interested. :)
    Moving on, I love those t-shirts! The zombie one is so cute, hehe. Yay for getting your Christmas shopping done too; I still have to finish mine. *groans*

    I really liked your poem too, btw. I had to read it twice to fully understand it (assuming I have even now, lol!), but I like it. It’s quite clever, and definitely creative!     Some people just need some push in order to change. But it sucks right? Being imprisoned for a while and then after a year or so, you are found to be innocent. If I were a member of the family, I’d be frustrated and sad at the same time. At least, he/she was free of the accusation.
