I think my past 3 consecutive posts have started with me apologizing for not updating that frequently but I think I’ll just stop saying it because then my posts will have become redundant. And I don’t want to read the same thing over and over again (unless of course it’s Harry Potter or a good read heeehee) too so I’ll save you guys the trouble. I’ve just come to accept the fact that I won’t be posting like crazy like the past months. I actually can’t believe that I always post so few during June. *check my past archive XD* I guess it’s because it’s always the start of a new school year but this year it’s different. Actually this whole later half of the year will be different, I’ll be going out of the country in August and I can’t imagine being able to maintain my site for four months. Hell, I just realized this problem… I hope that I’ll still be able to update though!

It’s still a miracle that I still get comments THANK YOU SO MUCH!! And I’ve been getting 100 spam comments now a week and some I don’t even want to erase because of these *but of course you know they’re spam coz… uh why would a guy name “buy new home” say all those?*

I’ve been feeling so… I don’t know, weird (well I’m always weird…), desolate, emo and all that crap the past few weeks. In philosophy, I’ve learned that desorbitation causes these kinds of feelings and I think I am experiencing desorbitation. It’s the loss of not of something, but of SOMEPLACE, of the WHOLE thing/being actually. I mean think about it. If you lost for example a car key, you’d definitely be able to find it, because it’s tangible and all. But what if you *knock on wood* failed the biggest exam that would determine your future? What did you lose really? The test score? The feeling? What? You’ve probably lost the reason for living or something. Well… I think I’ve lost something… I’m just not sure on what.

For this post, I’m going to keep it short and let you guys do the talking. A friend of mine asked this question recently….

“If money wasn’t an issue, nor expectations from peers and family, what would your job be? What do you want do?”

Well I’d answer: founder of a wildlife preserve in Africa, South America and maybe China. I’d want to help in the environment. I’d also want to be a food taster, be in broadway, be a voice actress. How about you guys?

Yey am so glad that everyone enjoyed the egg house in the last post! You guys are awesome you know? For telling me it’s okay to update only once a week or when I only feel like it… but I do have this urge of blogging every after 4 days and it pains me I can’t do it. I’ve now got a midterm and long exam next week and I really can’t wait until History (Philippine History & Rizal) IS OVER! It’s ruining my life!

Oh by the way guys! Posts marked with *POST TITLE* are BLOG REVIEWS and don’t really make any sense and are MADE UP 99% of the time. So if I said I talked to a friend or have a strange opinion, it’s not me. It’s just the ingenuity or lack thereof that’s acting there, so hopefully I didn’t offend anyone here…

I’ve been studiously learning French with Rosetta Stone *cough cough* and I just bought Berlitz’s Phrase Book and Dictionary as my friend Cheryl suggested. I would really recommend it because it has tips on pronunciation and categorized in particular situations such as shopping etc! Rosetta Stone is AWESOME too because it’s really VERY INTERACTIVE. Heck they don’t even have translations! They’ll only show pictures and their corresponding French word and now it’s up to you to remember and associate them. Rosetta Stone aims to boost your intuition and I’d recommend it for ANY LANGUAGE. I’m planning to get *cough cough* one for Spanish, Korean and Japanese again sometime. Maybe German too.

Again nothing is going on with my life except my friends and I just ate a GODZILLA BURRITO (it was around 2.5kg!!) and we finally watched IRONMAN 2!! *Robert Downey Jr. HOTNESS!! Scarlett Johansson HOTNESS ZOMG!!!* I just fainted I think.... XD Ironman 2 ROCKED the whole theatre but... I don't know... I felt something missing... but RDJ DID SUPERB AS USUAL ahahhaa!!

Nothing happened again this week… I mean we just built a paper tower during Software Engineering class (it’s for team building! Our prof says! and it patterns the management system of projects and stuff) and I found this idea on the net of using the accordion style for great balance but it was very vulnerable to the wind. Good thing it rained and we built in down the steps so that we’d escape the harsh winds! Man did you know that that day was probably the first time it rained after weeks of drought? GAWD!

Aww crap, after looking at my horrible sched in my last post, I knew that I couldn’t (but I WILL STILL TRY!) post every other 4 days like I used to. I can’t even blogskip or return comments as usual huhuhu… urgh the PRESSURE! I was able to go out with my best buds yesterday and commuted all over the place! Also finally went to Enderun Colleges (they had such a SCRUMPTIOUS MEAL!! MY GOSH O_O and it’ll definitely make you feel REALLY full. It’s not a culinary arts or hotel administration school for nothing!) to visit Danelle who studies there. I missed these gals!

My brother is in Perth, Australia already by the way! He’s experiencing 10 degree weather while we’re boiling here at 36 degrees. Luuckky him! T_T Funny instance in his stopover at Malaysia, he guided an Iranian family to their flight XD Man it was weird that they approached him, bro went all paranoid XD He’s enjoying so far and starts work tomorrow!

Urgh because of the lack of stories and anything new, I’d just post this nifty EGG-HOUSE that my mum e-mailed me (she e-mails me a LOT OF things. She’s the mum who’s always on facebook XD lOL) and I thought, hey I’d want this as a portable house. Just add some wheels and it’s A OKAY. It’s way more creative than your typical trailer park right? HAHAHHAA XD What do you think? And you could probably scare your neighbors that you’re an alien from outer space or something. I COME IN PEACE IN DA FORM OF AN EGG.

This house looking like a hard boiled egg is made by the Belgian architectural firm “dmvA”. It was actually meant to be a an extension for the “Xfactoragencies” office, but was rejected several times by local building regulations, so instead “dmvA” made a mobile office that didn’t look anything like the old “Xfactoragencies” offices.

The whole “egg house” is made of polyester, and it took 18 months to build it. Inside you can find a bathroom, a kitchen, interior lighting, a bed and several niches for storage, and like that wasn’t enough the nose can be opened automatically and is serving as a kind of porch. It can also be used as an office, guestroom or garden house

Awesome isn’t it? Anyway I’m pooped, sleepy and I still have to read “What Is Philosophy” and understand that being is in Being so being is Being. Yes indeedy! OH I MADE A SHORT(EST) video but it’s NOT the surprise, it’s completely random. PLEASE WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Okay I was KIDDING there. But if you didn’t watch the video, then you’d have no idea what I’m talking about. Nigahiga actually reminds me of someone I knooooww and z XD if I’m going to make a youtube video, then maybe it’ll sound as wacky as his. I don’t know… Those who’ve watched my previous vlogs should know! I tried to do the “surprise” video but my experiment FAILED MISERABLY yesterday so… it’s still a work in progress. Gashh but things are just about to get worse. Add to my heavy heavy History load (but of course no match to the load of Law/Medicine majors :D), I’d be getting late afternoon classes. I would really like to tackle culture and environment and money in today’s post. It’s about time to have another one of those posts with tips to help you guys save money. Usually all I post all about the environment and maybe you’ve all read my food rant in the previous posts so now i’ll take a different direction and head on to the other green thing we’re all obsessed about. We need help and sometimes even professional help when dealing with money because face it, it’s the thing that makes the world go round. Throw in a little love but basically it’s the green stuff that ALMOST DETERMINES EVERYTHING. So I’m going to help you guys save a little with this tip

Tip for the day would be… TO CHANGE FONTS WHEN PRINTING. Yes you, dear reader shouldn’t be too ink-happy when printing because not only will it save you ink, it would probably be able to help you save a few dollah dollah bills too since ink is REALLY EXPENSIVE. So according to yahoo news,

The school of 6,500 students spends about $100,000 per year on ink and toner cartridges. Although students and staff can change the default font to something more ink-intensive, Blohowiak said the university expects to save $5,000 to $10,000 per year with the font switch.

When Printer.com tested popular fonts for their ink-friendly ways, Century Gothic and Times New Roman topped the list. Calibri, Verdana, Arial and Sans Serif were next, followed by Trebuchet, Tahoma and Franklin Gothic Medium. Century Gothic uses about 30 percent less ink than Arial.

The amount of ink a font drains is mainly driven by the thickness of its lines. A font with “narrow” or “light” in its name is usually better than its “bold” or “black” counterpart, said Thom Brown, an ink researcher at Hewlett-Packard Co., the world’s top maker of printers.

Also, serif fonts — those with short horizontal lines at the top and bottom of characters — tend to use thinner lines and thus less ink than a “sans serif” counterpart.

NOTE READ THE WHOLE ARTICLE. This doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll completely save the environment because it’s really the number of paper we try to save that really counts.

As for culture, I’ve found this nifty video that talks about Japan. For me this isn’t really racist though the video does make use of humor and exaggeration to explain its point, and that’s the strangeness and wonder of Japan. This video is made by a Japanese so I guess it’s really not racist. I was just very amused and it’ll take 10 minutes of your life but it’s a good 10 minutes. Kudos to the guy who made this! Graphics are awesome!

I also love exploring old houses and museums (I just went to the Ayala Museum and it’s AWESOME! over 1000 gold pieces of our ancestors and they have an awesome diorama of the WHOLE history of the Philippines (around 2000 years ago? kinda forgot)) and I came from my childhood home, my grandparents’ house, yesterday and found A SHOCKING FIND!! My grandparents’ actually have a collection of the writings of GREAT MASTERS OF LITERATURE AND PHILOSOPHY OUT THERE! Man they probably had this collection around the 1960s. I always knew that there was a set of books on top of that shelf as a kid but I didn’t bother looking at it until now XD

This will be EXTREMELY useful for my philosophy and maybe theology classes because heck, we even have the writings of St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Augustine! I didn’t even need to go buy books of Shakespeare because I had them all in 2 books. Plus reading Plutarch would have been great for my Western History class. Man… the things you find… I took pics of my grandparents’ house too but I didn’t want to upload them… maybe next time hhehehee

And thank you all who noticed something VERY DIFFERENT with my blog. Something pink, something… BIG!! hhahaha Yeah I’ve changed layouts after EONS guys! Man, I was sick and tired of looking at green for almost a year (bloggie’s birthday is coming up in May! Guess which date? *clue: it’s in the blog somewhere…*) and I found this awesome pink theme (well, pink would be different for me, what I would really love is a red theme :D) from Anne and fell in love with it. I might change the header sometime though but can't promise it. I want to retain some panda things here too hhehee Or maybe it won't necessarily be a panda, let's just see. Dang, still no surprise video of mine, well... you know as they say... just be surprised someday!

And I AM SOO HAPPY BECAUSE... I'm in the Dean's List for 3 semesters already thus making me a DL for one year! It's an awesome feeling because... I don't know... this semester was very interesting and different. I worked hard for 2 As in Science and History because you really needed to study there (or cram real hard!) and I had the best professors there. Anyway... here's my grade! (highest grade point average here is 4) I am really skipping for joy! I hope that I'll be able to maintain it in my junior term abroad! It's so scary since we're just so few this semester. I'll be flying to France in Septemmberr omg only 5 months left!! April-July, JTA sem, YOU'RE GOING DOWN!

All this health talk especially promising myself to lose weight this year is motivating me really to eat well and lose some weight! I’m really quite determined since I started my food blog around end of February. I haven’t really told anyone about this yet because… I don’t want to call it I’m “dieting”. I was inspired by one of my best friends to just “EAT HEALTHY”. The secret of losing weight is not starving yourself nor is it going to the gym 10 hours a day or what. It’s just about making HEALTHY CHOICES. Go eat a burger once in a while (but once you watch Food Inc, you might even try to NEVER eat burgers again) and have some sweets but it’s all about balance. I think it’s time to share just a little bit of “wellness” – a term coined by me and my friends when we were kidding and having fun last Tuesday at Shangrila Mall. XD

We celebrated his graduation yesterday at Balducci’s (i think that’s the name XD) located at Serendra (awesome food place here in the Philippines! If you ever go to Manila, do go here!) and the food was awesome! Since am still on my diet, I ordered grilled prawns and the food was delish! Though I liked Chelsea’s better.

By the way here’s a picture of me and my bro at his graduation. I can’t believe we were late and didn’t see him go up the stage!! Blame family business, darn, some people just HAD to drop by our house at 4:30pm urgh. But howell, we’ll see it on video anyway and plus my gash ADMU, why hold graduation in the covered courts? Sighs… I hope my graduation will be held in someplace cool! I saw Chris Tiu too by the way! XD (famous basketball player here)

XD Well since it’s almost the elections time already in the Philippines, jokes and comics regarding presidents came to my mind and which president suffered more jokes than anyone? Well certainly that’s ex-President/ex-convict Erap Joseph Estrada. My gasshhh I even have a joke book about him and there’s this one about Erap being asked to translate “A rolling stone gathers no moss” in Spanish by his teacher. And if you understand Filipino/Tagalog + little Spanish, you’d get the joke XD Well this is my own plea to my countrymen, please please,

- VOTE WISELY. Don’t vote for someone who’s ALREADY LOST OUT TRUST
- VOTE FOR SOMEONE WHO DOESN’T CAPITALIZE ON THE POOR
- RESEARCH INFORMATION REGARDING EACH CANDIDATE. Know their mistakes, their achievements. Make sure that they HAVE DONE SOMETHING IN THEIR LIVES
- JUDGE THEM AS AN INDIVIDUAL PERSON. Not based on their family background. Not based on their parents’ achievements
- Take note: CORRUPTION CANNOT BE DISPLACED BY ONE PERSON ALONE. So if someone promises to take away corruption, let him put up surveillance cameras in EVERY POLITICIANS’ HOMES. Of course that will never happen so you CAN’T.

So today, I’m going to concentrate on food! Yes, oh that stuff that everyone loves? They come in all shapes, colors and sizes and it’s essential for every human being (who wants to live anyway) and it’s a fun delicious subject! But what are your thoughts on THE GOLDEN ARCHES?? The catalyst for what we know as FASTFOOD?

After watching this year’s Ho-hum oscars, the Best Documentary and Best Shorts caught my eye especially this nominated best documentary film of Robert Kenner called FOOD INC. I did wonder, where the heck does our food come from? How on earth do we feed 6 billion people EVERYDAY?? That’s about killing millions of cows, chickens EVERYDAY. How the heck do we keep up? Well food inc especially explores that in American society. Even tough I’m not American, I can feel the filmakers’ anger, the LIES that you guys have been presented. And I sure hope that it isn’t done in the Philippines (because I don’t think our country is capable of such big factories, I may be wrong) or any other place. It’s just sad to see the HORRORS that happen behind their food industry. It’s so scary… this is why I think that I’m going to STOP EATING FASTFOOD altogether. This will be a big deal for me because I LOVE FOOD. Heck I’m a burger-pizza person too. I eat just about anything but after watching the film, I can’t help stop to think too. I’m also on this diet (actually it’s just, eat less, eat only 3x a day, absolutely NO SUGAR/JUNKFOOD and more fruits) so I don’t eat as much junk anymore and it’s going well. Lost 3 pounds and lost about 1 inc of my waist Took 3 weeks!

Well anyway, I want to stop eating fastfood and God help me. This film also inspired me to pursue my dream of building a farm too. The food industry is one that will STAY FOREVER. I promise you that. It’s not like fashion where style changes every season but food will always be here and farms are ALWAYS needed. I want to have my own farm, a good farm using traditional style of breeding and planting. And maybe add some principles on vermiculture (I blogged about it here regarding fattening up the soil with nutrients with the help of earthworms). I want to help change the world at least with one footprint of mine. I too am inspired to make a documentary, it’s so… meaningful and exciting! Let’s just see what happens. Hope that it stays.

I’m now officially on SUMMER BREAK because I just had my last finals of my sophomore year (crap, I’m NOW A JUNIOR!) and I’m soo happy that we finally got this needed break after the headaches, arguments, frustrations and everything this past week. I swear I thought I was going to get sick because of the pressure but everything went well including our computer project defense! Only thing that let me down was the Science 10 finals because it was soo darn hard! But I’ve really grown to appreciate science because of it. I mean now I can appreciate this article, you know, the world’s probably ONLY IMMORTAL BEING ON EARTH??

It’s amazing that there actually is an immortal being here. AWESOME!!

Story regarding the prisoner letter if anybody is interested ▼

Finally finally my package from Threadless has arrived last week! It took almost 2 months for it to ship. Reckon it was stuck in customs? So weird, because the panda hat I bought later also from the US came before these 2 shirts.

What you think about the shirts? I wanted this one but it is STILL OUT OF STOCK. Bummer !

I do want to promote their shirt for Haiti. I know I haven’t talked about Haiti and I feel quite guilty because I was all out for Ondoy. I tried to help though. I donated to Phil Red Cross for their Haiti relief operations and I’m still spreading the news on twitter and facebook. I really can’t imagine how Haiti is coping. They are less fortunate than us Philippines and have fewer resources so I am quite concerned with their manpower. And I’ve been hearing about the violence that they experiencing. An earthquake is quite different from the flood because buildings collapsed here. More damage has been done. People in Haiti must really be frightened. If I only can go there, I would to! Now to the gist of the post! I’ve been really wanting to talk about how innovation is affecting our lives. I’ve been enjoying the past few classes of PS140 Electronics and it is WEIRD for me because I normally scrunch my face when I hear of electronics because I just don’t understand it at times. But good thing Sir showed us how cool electronics is and how technology is changing. He introduced us to TED and in their site I quote,

TED is a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader. Along with the annual TED Conference in Long Beach, California, and the TEDGlobal conference in Oxford UK, TED includes the award-winning TEDTalks video site, the Open Translation Program, the new TEDx community program, this year’s TEDIndia Conference and the annual TED Prize.

People in TED hold a lot of conferences and forums and if you just watch some of them, you’d be amazed how man has traveled so far and how going to the moon now is just a cinch. I mean imagine a world like the one in Ironman, where Tony Stark is just manipulating and staring at an invisible screen but yet he is able to move windows, resize them and input calculations. It’s awesome isn’t it? I was actually able to watch the video where I saw this almost happening. You can take pictures WITH JUST YOUR FINGERS. Get information of a book from Amazon by just screening the pages/title cover. AMAZING. Are you ready to watch this SIXTH SENSE?

But I realized… if this device can just point at a person’s face and identify him immediately, isn’t it… a bit stalker-ish? This device gives a whole lot of knowledge and in our society today, KNOWLEDGE is INDEED POWER. It’s crazy and scary at the same time how technology is advancing so quickly. I really do think that the movie I Robot may actually be possible now.

For me, technology shouldn’t be selfish. This device is a bit selfish in a sense that you want everything at once and anything. If you invent something that saves lives, then that’s something really marvelous. My favorite innovation that sir showed us was the lifesaver bottle. He was inspired by Hurricane Katrina when he saw that after the devastation, people were cloistered and were getting sick everywhere. Access to food and most importantly water is almost non-existent. People were still dying. Michael Pritchard then researched and after a few prototypes (you can just imagine how many times he must have gotten sick himself), he was able to invent a water bottle that even if you put the MOST POLLUTED RIVER WATER (case in point: pasig river or yangtze river), you’d be able to filter out DRINKING WATER.

Again. AMAZING.

Did you know that the size of a bacteria/virus is 25 NANOMETERS and the size of the pores of the filtering systems of our water filtering centers is around A MICRON? Food for thought. GET THIS, they actually have a website already *just saw it, silly me XD* HELP HAITI BY DONATING 25$ and give them a water bottle! Pls go this site for more information.

I can’t believe I haven’t seen these water bottles before, I really want to invest in this and bring it here in the Philippines. GOSH REALLY AMAZING.

And more doggie news! I went to my mum’s friend’s place (the on you know, who I talked about had a pool just for her doggies?) but too bad I didn’t see the oldie golden retrievers swimming about! XD Good thing Tita (aunt in Filipino, you call your mum’s friends aunt too :D) was able to capture these moments!

Ever since my alarm clock broke… well i haven’t had anything to wake me up except mum’s screams. XD And am lusting over this. T_T It’s soo cool and it’s an ipod speaker to boot! Anybody wanna give this as an advance birthday present? haha it’d be good when I go to Junior Term Abroad too! Oh yeah, which brings me that the list of schools being offered will be released NEXT WEEK! It’s finally happening!

Was your New Year as loud as this in the Philippines? I swear I think I’ve gone DEAF-er *if that’s possible* but there was less fireworks and revelry. but wait.. it’s still a lot XD

I’ve had a rough and good time with 2009. So many firsts, so many letdowns and heartaches. It was a great mix of a year but somehow I feel that 2010 will be more memorable. It’s the year I finally (AND HOPEFULLY) will live abroad, leave my teen years (really, I’m just going to be 12 years old! XD), hopefully find a part of me somewhere and I don’t know what else. I hope for more opportunities. I feel like shattering into a million pieces because of this excitement in me. I want to just feel everything…

Okay a bit emotional here… But really I am so hopeful. I want a lot of things on my bucket list be fulfilled. I’ve joined again some projects and made some on my own. And holy frigging hell, i’m going to turn 30 in 2020 FRIGGING HELL. Oh please decade, don’t… don’t move so fast… Now I’m becoming anxious. Oh dear me…

Sorry, being carried away here. I’m so sorry guys for not visiting you lately, I’ve become sort of “unattached” again with the online world so even though I’m online, I’m doing something else and not exactly concentrating on my blog. I have needed the break. I feel like I can do more now, hopefully be less distracted *except for Tumblr, Tumblr’s a bit addicting still and I do upload my Project 365*. If you really want to know what has happened, check my project 365. It has become my sort of daily diary. PLUS THERE’S A TWIST HERE! XD

And I’ve finally posted the codenames for the Bloggers’ Christmas Exchange! Hope everyone has fun!

I was really planning out this post again since last week but I had such a relaxing and inspirational weekend. Again I was contemplating on what I wanted to do in life. Can’t I just put in my occupation as “a Smiles worker?” or something and just work for Disneyland? But of course I can’t really do that and I’m a realistic gal. Well I try to think so. But spending time with my mom and her friends has got me thinking. Did you know that my mom has a friend who has TWO HUGE BOULDERS/METEORS in her home? For some reason, she found 2 huge rocks at the site of their house and she just built over it so now she has these two dead (if they didn’t kill the rocks, they’d have created a hole in the ceiling! One is just barely touching the ceiling!) rocks. The ambience is wondeful! Her home is absolutely beautiful and can be likened to this though no pool! XD the pool is at the backyard.

She’s a fellow dog lover like my mom so when you enter the gate, you see this kennel filled with her golden retrievers. Then she has wooden steps leading down to her home like the picture and the entrance is an open area also just like in the picture. It is one with nature! Then her backyard is even grander with a swimming pool (JUST FOR THE DOGS) and another kennel for the golden retrievers with transparent doors as they can be released whenever they want to play. It’s really magical! She then has a HUGE STATUE of Mother Mary overlooking Marikina. Then she plans to build a jogging path with the 2000 hectare land she has there. WOW right?

Well clearly she’s very rich but she’s such a good hearted person. She kind of revived the farmer aspirations of mine (also recently triggered by earthworms) as she told us her secrets of staying young (she’s 44 years old but she looks like not a day older than 30 >_<) and keeping fit is growing her own WHEATGRASS. I drink tablets of these to help detoxify my body and fix my digestion and acids but apparently growing organic wheatgrass is definitely better. And now she has introduced to us, KEFIR, a yogurt-like substance that is 100 times better than yogurt as it is a probiotic drink! *it tastes TERRIBLE THOUGH! I mean really, pure kefir tastes sour and ugh milk). I have drank it for 3 days now and I can say that I think it’s having an effect on me because my pimples aren’t appearing, my digestion is better, and I really do feel better. What really made me a believer was it HELPED HER SON WITH CANCER.

Two years ago, she found out that her son has cancer and how heartbreaking is that for a mother? It is even more painful to see that your 15 year old son may not have a normal life but she sought for answers and didn’t just stand by the sidelines. Being a health buff and nutritionist even before, she delved into the realm of medical books searching for ways to help her son cope with chemo and all. She found out about growing wheat grass, looking for Kefir grains through a friend in GERMANY (that’s how rare those things are!) and she culture them herself. I’ll be going back for lessons on how to culture them. Kefir grains are sort of like fungi and needs to be taken care of and be replenished with RAW MILK (yes dears, not just your everyday normal milk, it should be unpasteurized) so imagine how hard it is for her to find these.

And now look at her family now, two years after this ordeal of staying in hospitals (Singapore, US) and praying with intense devotion they are finally back on track and the cancer (Leukemia) is no more. And really, her son now 17 didn’t even look like he had cancer. He is fit and even back then every after chemotherapy, he ran for about a kilometer! The spirit really, wow! Such an inspiring story, brought my mother’s friend to tears.

Well I don’t know, maybe a spark in me wanted to be just like her. I want to pursue first this Kefir thing and experience how to grow it. I’ll update you all when I am able to.

So there, this post is just all about dreams and hopes and stories. So now I also share my other dream to you.

I shared in my bucket list that I want to try cosplaying! It’s costume role playing for guys out there who don’t know. I just think it’s fun dressing up but I’m an insecure little girl and the clothes won’t look good on me so I don’t try. Well I hope to try someday. My friend Lev does cosplay but I don’t have the courage like her yet! I was just reminded of this when I saw this AWESOME cosplaying at my friend’s blog showcasing a cosplay of BioShock’s Big Daddy and Little Sister.

Awesome right? The photography and everything, the costume makeup, whoa! It’s so nice!

Speaking of photography, have you heard about the love story of Rosie and Aaron in Flickr? Well can you imagine that their love blossomed in just the dimensions of their flickr photos and e-mail? How love transcends really! All it took was a first funny photo of Aaron squirting whip cream in his nose and the rest was history. It is again so magical to me and also, I am very much impressed with Rosie’s photography! Imagine, she is just 18 (or 19 like me??) and she can edit photos like a pro! Her project 365 is breathtaking! You can see how beautiful the images are and how their love bloomed too I love how sometimes her photos are so dark, depressing, morbid and sunny at the same time! Pls seriously, you have to view her photos!

Sighs, it is so sad the headline of today’s newspaper, around 52 people WERE MASSACRED in Maguindanao (a province in the Philippines) today including journalists, thus making our country the worst place for journalists in THE WORLD (yes we beat Iraq ). And the cause of this HORROR? POLITICS. Elections is coming up next year and these frigging COWARDS, rival part/clan of the one filing for candidacy for mayor just couldn’t take the heat and decided to just murder, mutilate, rape his family members, supporters and they absolutely spared NO ONE. I am so enraged at how inhumane this is, how these DEMONS (yes they’re not humans anymore for me, sorry) could just murder with no regrets. With no second thoughts. I really want to bash their heads together and think of other horrible and greater tortures for these BEASTS but I have decided to just let the Lord JUDGE THESE PEOPLE. JUSTICE SHALL BE SERVED. JUSTICE HAS TO BE SERVED!!

Sultan Kudarat, Philippines – At around 10 a.m. on Monday, vice mayor Ishmael Mangudadatu of Buluan town in Maguindanao received a call from his wife that at least 100 armed men were holding her and 50 others, including 34 journalists. Mangudadatu’s wife Genalyn even complained that one of the armed men, whom she identified as “Ampatuan’s men,” slapped her. That was the last time the vice mayor heard his wife’s voice. Late Monday afternoon, Genalyn’s body was among those found in the village of Masalay in Datu Abdullah Sangki town in Maguindanao. “This is very painful but we trust God’s sense of justice. We leave everything to him,” he said.

Buluan town Mayor Ebrahim Mangudadatu, brother of Ishmael, said they got witnesses who claimed that his sister, Mayor Eden Mangudadatu of Mangudadatu town, was brave enough to stab Datu Unsay town Mayor Andal Ampatuan Jr., the man who wanted to succeed his father, Andal Sr., as Maguindanao governor and the man against whom Ishmael would run. “Maybe sensing that all of them will be killed, she drew out a knife and stabbed Andal Jr. She’s brave,” the mayor said.

Presidential Adviser for Mindanao Jesus Dureza condemned the massacre. “This is a gruesome massacre of civilians unequalled in recent history. Even women and working mediamen were not spared. I grieve for my friends in the media and all those killed while doing their job,” Dureza said in a statement. “There must be a total stop to these senseless violence and carnage in the highest form. I strongly recommend that a state of emergency be imposed in the area and everyone be disarmed. Anything less would not work,” Dureza added.

Buluan town Mayor Ebrahim Mangudadatu said he saw at least 20 bodies in the village of Masalay earlier in the day. “I saw around 20 bodies scattered on the ground. The cadavers were riddled with bullets. Some women were obviously raped. The vehicles used were ransacked and all valuables were taken away,” the mayor, who went to Masalay on a helicopter, said. Masalay, which is near the national highway, is a village of corn and coconut farms. Mayor Ebrahim Mangudadatu said some of the victims were buried. He said a backhoe, which was apparently used to dig the graves, was still in the area. The backhoe is owned by the Provincial Government of Maguindanao and had Governor Andal Ampatuan’s name printed on it, the mayor said.

At least 34 journalists were with the group taken hostage by the armed men Monday morning. The journalists were there to cover the filing of certificate of candidacy for gubernatorial position of Buluan Vice Mayor Ishmael “Toto” Mangudadatu. The 34 journalists, aboard three vehicles, were part of the convoy led by vice mayor Eden Mangudadatu of Mangudadatu town in Maguindanao, who was tasked by his brother to file his COC with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) provincial office in Shariff Aguak town, Maguindanao.

And on a last note, scientists have discovered A NEW TYPE OF CLOUD!

Say hello to OUR 5TH KIND OF CLOUD: ASPERATUS *yes elementary kiddies, you have one extra cloud to memorize! XD haha!*

These choppy clouds could be examples of the first new type of cloud to be recognized since 1951. Or so hopes Gavin Pretor-Pinney, founder of the Cloud Appreciation Society.

The British cloud enthusiast said he began getting photos of “dramatic” and “weird” clouds (including the above) in 2005 that he didn’t know how to define.

A few months ago he began preparing to propose the odd formations as a new cloud variety to the UN’s World Meteorological Organization, which classifies cloud types.

Pretor-Pinney jokingly calls it the “Jacques Cousteau cloud,” after its resemblance to a roiling ocean surface seen from below. But the cloud fan has proposed a “formal,” Latin name: Undulatus asperatus–roughly, “a very turbulent, violent, chaotic form of undulation,” explained Pretor-Pinney, author of the new Cloud Collector’s Handbook.

Margaret LeMone, a cloud expert with the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado, said that she has taken photos of asperatus clouds intermittently over the past 30 years.

I hope to see these new clouds but I’ve been observing our skies lately… there are certainly weirder cloud formations now. I really have to bring a camera outside everyday now. I took some shots yesterday but none like these. I have seen some wavy ones but alas NO CAMERA! !
