Gmail Tips and Tricks
Almost everyone I know has Gmail because of the clean and user friendly interface and its very useful threading abilities. No more clutter like in Yahoo Mail! (I can’t say for Hotmail though, I don’t actually have one
haha) But not everyone knows how to effectively use Gmail. People are wondering, how do you filter unread/read mails?
Good thing Google compiled a list for us! I do wish that they would update their Beta and include buttons or shortcuts too so that people wouldn’t have to type this all the time. Here’s the list by the way!
Most useful ones are
is:unread – Shows unread messages only
from: – Used to specify the sender
to: – Used to specify a recipient
in:anywhere – Search for messages anywhere in your account
after: or before: – Search for messages sent during a certain period of time
