How about you guys, are you celebrating Valentines’ Day? I have never celebrated it so it’s like a normal day for me. Good thing Chinese New Year is on Sunday too! Gonna eat out with mom’s side! Uncle from Shanghai is going back and he’s bringing his family! I MISS THEM!!
Speaking of relatives, I am so sad to hear that my favorite cousins from before (we became detached because of parents and shiz, so there haven’t spoken to them for like 5-7 years or something) are now migrating to Canada. And that my other set of cousins *young ones* ARE GOING TO CANADA TO THIS YEAR. Hell, only 1 other set of cousins besides us are staying in the Philippines. We’re going to be soo few now… This reminds me of how scary the future is, I’ve always been sort of afraid of the future, I mean what happens after college? Work? Where? When? ARGH. I’m going to miss all the lost time that would have been spent bonding with my cousins… I mean we did hit it off again even after a large year diff, even teasing my 2 month younger-than-me cousin that he looks like a Korean XD hahaa. Good thing there’s facebook, I really regret not keeping in touch. Sighs 
So there… I’m feeling sad and I feel so weird right now… I have this sudden bouts of “sadness” (i don’t want to call it depression) and it’s happening now. Good thing my best friend is helping me by making me laugh XD Oh and to not burden you guys much, I SUGGEST YOU WATCH PRINCESS AND THE FROG. I swear, after watching a couple of minutes, I couldn’t help but be like the Top Movie Critic, Roger Ebert, and exclaim
“No 3-D! No glasses! No extra ticket charge! No frantic frenzies of meaningless action! And . . . good gravy! A story! Characters! A plot! It’s set in a particular time and place! And it uses (calm me down here) lovingly hand-drawn animation that proceeds at a human pace, instead of racing with odd smoothness. I’m just gonna stand here and let it pour over me.”
Oh classic Disney with hand drawn animation, HOW I MISSED YOU. I teared up guys. I rarely do that but I teared up at the end of this movie. Was it the Disney magic? Or just plain relief of seeing hand-colored images brought painstakingly and lovingly to life by these artists? Or was it the richness of the personality of the characters? The songs in my opinion won’t be classics like Under the Sea or Beauty and the Beast or A Whole New World, but you’ll groove to the music. I have the last song syndrome with some though, and it has such a beautiful love/dedication song too. Watch and you’ll see.

Another hilarious thing happened last week, my mom and dad were at a dog show in Cavite and my dad playfully put Chico in front of the DRIVER’S SEAT with the engine running. Little did he know that Chico would put his paws and place them heavily on the LOCK SO BAM!! They were locked out of the car! XD Good thing mum had friends who helped them “break” into our own car. Too bad I wasn’t there!! XD
Oh I need your help guys! THIS IS IT! Four days from now, I would have finally chosen my TOP 3 DESTINATIONS for JUNIOR TERM ABROAD!! This is finally happening! Ever since I have been hearing about JTA in high school, I’ve been so ecstatic and anxious and now when it’s finally here, I AM SO FRIGGING NERVOUS AND SO UNDECIDED. I have already picked my 3 destinations, Japan(Osaka University), US(University of San Francisco or U of Pacific) or France (Lille Catholic University). Now all I need is to arrange them in order. I really like all three because of the many wonderful experiences in store. I still have to discern a lot this weekend and choose for Monday is the deadline. I want to take up subjects other than Computer Science so that i don’t know… have more experience in other fields. If you were in my place, how would you rank them?

I’m sorry to hear about your cousins. But for me it’s similar – all my cousins live in Indonesia, and only one in Australia here. I don’t feel as close to my cousins as you do, though, I can tell.
I think you should pop those universities exactly in that order. Or US first. Japan sounds great though. :3 I just like the order you’ve got there.

The Princess and the Frog, that was the most AMAZING movie I’ve seen in a long time. You could tell they went the extra mile on that film since it determined the future of 2D animation, and it paid off!! It brought me to tears too,
. They’ve made a couple flops in the past years, but are definitely starting to turn it around.

i love the princess and the frog.. yung kapatid ko nabore pero ako nagustuhan ko talaga sya.. iba kasi yung disney classic.. talagang may dating.. lahat halos ng classic animation nila faves ko, lalo na yung beauty and the beast tsaka little mermaid.. natawa pala ko dun sa firefly na mahal si evangeline (yung star) pero in the end naging star din sya.. so cute..
as for your cousins leaving for canada, naku medyo mahirap talaga yan sa umpisa kasi nasanay kayo na magkakasama.. why not visit them once in a while naman sa canada??

’d at the movie critic’s description though! XD Disney movies lately just haven’t been what they used to be, but it sounds like this might be a return to the classic animation style. Yay! I might be biased because I grew up on Disney classics like ‘Beauty and the beast’ and ‘Cinderella’, but I do think that old style had a more magical sort of feel.

_Well my week only started two days ago so nothing very interesting has happened yet. All I’ve done since yesterday is waste time online and watch a bit of TV.

_I don’t really have any “favourite” relatives, but I’m quite close to my aunt (mum’s sister) and her youngest son Jonty (who will be 11 in a week – ahhh!). I’ve always been close to Jonty because I looked after him a lot when he was a baby and toddler. As for overseas relatives, my uncle lives in New Zealand, but that’s about it. The rest of my overseas rellies are ones I don’t really know.
2. Have you watched Princess and the Frog? If yes, what did you think of it and if not, do you want to download/watch it?
_I haven’t seen it yet, but I’d like to. Hopefully it will come out on our pay-per-view movie service soon and I can watch it then.

My parents aren’t really into the red envelopes either; we usually just eat out as a family. All our relatives are overseas though, so we can’t celebrate it with them.
I guess sometimes we want to go back and change things but sometimes things change for a reason and things are supposed to be back in the past. I’ve never been comfortable with guys; I always think it is their job to ask girls out! Ah well, I saw this guy as a friend after I had a crush on him; too bad he was just a jerk.
